Food hygiene in Dolibarr: use-by dates for opened products, temperature logs for cold equipment, and HACCP checks, recorded on a phone in the kitchen.

SmartDLC meets the daily obligations of a professional kitchen. Products are recorded with their use-by date, supported by a photo of the label, then tracked from storage to consumption or disposal; opening or freezing recalculates the secondary date based on configured timeframes. Cold equipment temperatures are logged in the order of the inspection round, and six types of HACCP checks are completed using checklist templates, validated with a signature, then exported as PDF. An installable phone app brings data entry to where it happens.

SmartDLC: Best-by dates and temperature readings recorded in the kitchen

First public release on February 23, 2024, version 1.2.0. The module tracks opened products based on their expiration dates—receipt, opening, removal from packaging, and disposal—with automatic recalculation of the date according to configured timeframes and alerts as the expiration date approaches. It also monitors temperatures in refrigeration equipment. Data is entered via an app that can be installed on a phone, accessed by scanning a QR code. Dolibarr 11 and later.
