CapAgenda

Overview

The native Dolibarr agenda does the job, but moving an appointment, switching views or finding a colleague's events takes many clicks. CapAgenda replaces it with a single, fast and readable page, in the spirit of the online calendars everybody knows, without changing your data.

The module is for every team that organises its appointments, calls, interventions and meetings in Dolibarr: sales people, technicians, assistants and managers. The events stay those of the Agenda module: reminders, triggers and the modules hooked on it keep working.

One page, every view

• Day, week, month, list and per-colleague planning, on the same page; the last view used is remembered for each user.
• The whole width of the screen: the Dolibarr left menu is hidden on the agenda, a foldable side panel gathers the Create button, a mini month and the filters.
• Soft colors: each event takes a pastel tint of the color of its colleague or of its type, taken from the user cards and the event type dictionary.
• Quick reading: the title first, the time and the third party under it, a check mark for what is done, automatic events as outlines, one dot per appointment in the month view.

Organise without opening a card

• Drag and drop to move an appointment, bottom edge to change its duration, drag from one planning line to another to hand it over to another colleague.
• Quick creation on a selected time slot, with the third party and the project searched by name or reference, then on to the native card for notes, reminders and contacts.
• Status 0, 50 or 100 % from the detail panel.
• Undo of the last change for a few seconds, and protection against simultaneous changes: an event changed by a colleague in the meantime is refused and the view refreshes.
• Keyboard shortcuts to navigate, switch views, create and filter.

Filter like in an online calendar

• One colored box per colleague, with the Me, My team and All shortcuts.
• Calendars: my events, the others', leaves, birthdays, external iCal calendars and events of other modules.
• More filters: group, event types as colored boxes that double as a legend, status, third party, project and resource.
• Every choice is remembered for each user.

Replace the native agenda, or not

An option redirects the month, week, day and per-user views of the native agenda to CapAgenda. The native list view stays available, and the native agenda can be reached at any time. A dedicated permission reserves the modern agenda to part of the users. The module creates no table: disabling it leaves Dolibarr exactly as it was.
