Incoming and outgoing mail handling inside Dolibarr: multiple IMAP mailboxes, lead processing, thirdparty linking.
Capmail centralises mail handling inside Dolibarr. The module collects messages from one or several IMAP mailboxes, identifies senders, links them to the matching thirdparties and keeps the conversation history on the record.
Its main interface is a three-column view - list, preview, actions - designed to process an incoming message as a request to qualify: quick creation of a thirdparty, a contact, a project or a ticket straight from the mail. A classic list view remains available for advanced searches.
IMAP folders are presented as tags, and flags stay synchronised both ways with the server: read, unread, star and four user flags compatible with Thunderbird.

A security and reliability release. Multi-entity isolation is now enforced by the module itself, the rights matrix is checked everywhere, and state-changing actions require a token. Accented subjects are no longer stripped, IMAP folders resolve on servers using a dot separator, STARTTLS is offered for per-mailbox SMTP and the connection test really authenticates.

A three-column interface becomes the default view, the module handles several IMAP mailboxes with a per-user rights matrix, IMAP folders give way to tags, and flags are synchronised both ways with the server. Detection and extraction templates turn a website form into a thirdparty, a contact or a project.
First public release on October 31, 2025, as version 1.0.4. The module retrieves an IMAP mailbox and displays the emails in Dolibarr: sender, recipient, date, attachments, whether the email is incoming or outgoing, and links replies to the original message. You can reply directly from the ERP, mark emails as read or unread, apply one of four custom tags, and send an attachment to an external document management system. Dolibarr 11 and later.
