capcompta 1.3.0: keyboard accounting in seven languages
capcompta is a keyboard accounting interface built on top of Dolibarr's Accounting module: same tables, same rights, same engines. The link, journals, ledger, lettering, entry, bank reconciliation, FEC exports, and closing are all done without leaving the keyboard.
Seven languages instead of two
capcompta previously spoke French and English. Version 1.3.0 adds German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and Brazilian Portuguese on both sides of the module: in Dolibarr for menus, setup, and messages, and in the keyboard workspace for all screens, from the dashboard to closing.
Accounting terms follow each country's usage, and keyboard shortcuts remain the same across all languages. The labels Dolibarr writes to the ledger and later compares to recognize an already transferred entry keep their core form: changing the language never causes an invoice to be transferred twice.
A demo at the scale of a real company
The demo now describes a consulting firm with around fifty employees: 55 customers with their contacts, intra-community and export sales, around 24 sales invoices per month, twelve employees and their expense reports, payroll for fifty people, and over 5,000 ledger entries in a year. Enough to evaluate capcompta on a volume similar to a real file, not just a handful of invoices.
Update
Replace the module files, then reload the workspace in your browser. No reactivation is needed, and your entries are not affected.
