FxPreFlight 1.2.60: stronger access rights and a guide to invoice numbering

What this release brings

Before the move to electronic invoicing, FxPreFlight checks that your Dolibarr data is ready: customers, products, invoices, numbering, bank accounts. Version 1.2.60 also brings together the content of versions 1.2.56 and 1.2.58, which were not released.

Stronger access rights

Until now, any user logged in to Dolibarr could open the module's analyses, including the page that displays the company's IBAN and BIC. From now on:

• a dedicated permission gives access to the dashboard and the analysis pages;
• the bank accounts page additionally requires access to the Banks and cash module;
• copying a third party's address to a contact requires the right to modify contacts, and can no longer be triggered by a booby-trapped link;
• in multi-company mode, only the bank accounts of the current entity are displayed.

After updating, re-enable the module, then grant the new permission to the non-administrator users who consult the analyses.

Invoice numbering: why gapless and chronological

A series like this one, with no missing number, is nevertheless not compliant:

A new documentation page explains why, drawing on the official texts: article 242 nonies A of annexe II to the CGI, BOFiP, the European VAT directive, the fines in article 1737 of the CGI. It shows how this case arises in Dolibarr, the two options that prevent it, what electronic invoicing changes, and what the texts say about resetting the counter annually or monthly.

Since 1.2.54

• The form sent to your customers so they can complete their information can be published at an address other than that of your Dolibarr (reverse proxy, dedicated domain).
• The check on the wording "TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI" no longer reports an error when a standard PDF template already prints it.
• A demonstration data set, with a guided tour of the dashboard, is available for presentations and training. It modifies the database: to be reserved for a test instance.
