So You Start: Hosting Invoices Imported into Dolibarr

The So You Start module was released on July 22, 2024, as version 1.0.2.

The Need

A monthly hosting plan generates twelve invoices per year, which must be retrieved from a separate interface and then re-entered into the accounting system, including the PDFs.

Importing Invoices

The import screen retrieves the list of invoices from the account. For each one, the module indicates whether it already exists in Dolibarr, with or without its PDF. All you have to do is check the ones that are missing and start the import: the vendor invoice is created for the selected third party, and the original PDF is downloaded and attached.

One option filters out invoices with a zero amount, which don't need to clutter up the books.

Servers

The list of dedicated servers associated with the account can be viewed in Dolibarr.

The Connection

The main account is specified in the configuration, and a button checks the connection to the programming interface before any import takes place. As long as the module is not configured, it clearly indicates this rather than failing later on.

A So You Start account with access to the programming interface. So You Start is a trademark of its owner; the module is a client of that trademark.

The module is released under the GPL v3.
