CapFullPOS 1.4.0: the Dolibarr point of sale works offline, on smartphones and in seven languages

A till that no longer stops

CapFullPOS turns Dolibarr into a touch-screen point of sale: products, stock, customers and invoices stay in the ERP, with no external synchronisation. The 1.4.0 version brings together all the work carried out since 1.0.4, whose intermediate versions were not released.

The most awaited change: a network outage no longer stops the till. Sales are recorded on the device and sent to Dolibarr as soon as the connection returns. Each till numbers its own receipts, including offline, and two devices can never issue the same number: each device is enrolled on a specific till.

Complete payment handling

• cheque with its number and bank, transfer;
• gift cards sold at the till (code and QR code), then used at payment;
• customer credit notes applied in one click;
• overall discount on the order, with a mandatory reason and an adjustable cap;
• free item, with a reason, the price remaining visible on the invoice;
• luncheon voucher cap applied, with an alert beyond the daily limit.

The sales history allows a sale to be cancelled, a payment to be reversed or a credit note to be issued, each action under its own permission.

On smartphones, and in seven languages

On a phone, the application adopts navigation at the bottom of the screen, a basket in a panel and an adapted floor plan; the camera acts as a barcode reader. The module and the till application are available in French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese.

Security

The module has been reviewed from end to end: every action is checked against the user's entity, the enrolled device and the permission it requires, the customer display pairing tokens are no longer stored in clear text and public access is rate-limited.

Update

CapFullPOS now requires Dolibarr 18.0 or higher and the SmartAuth module 2.0.34 or higher. Upload the new version, then disable and re-enable the module: this is what applies the database changes.
