Capagenda 1.0.0: a modern team calendar for Dolibarr

A team calendar on a single page

Capagenda brings together on a single page the month, week, day, list, and per-user schedule views. The last view used is saved for each account, along with filters and color choices: everyone finds their calendar as they left it.

The module creates no table and adds no business object: it reads and writes the events of the native Agenda module through Dolibarr's core class. Triggers, reminders, and modules connected to the calendar continue to work, and disabling the module does not remove any event.

Organise without forms

• drag an event to move it, pull its bottom edge to resize it, move it from one column to another in the schedule to reassign it;
• select a time slot to create an event, searching for the third party and the project by name, reference, or keyword; "More options" resumes input in the native card;
• set an event to 0, 50, or 100% from its detail panel;
• undo a move, resize, status change, or creation within a few seconds.

An event modified by someone else in the meantime is rejected and the view updates: no one overwrites a colleague's work unknowingly.

Filters cover calendars (my events, others' events, leave, birthdays, external iCal calendars, events from other modules), users with shortcuts Me, My team, and All, groups, event types, status, the third party, the project, and the resource.

Colours follow either the owner user or the event type, based on what Dolibarr already stores: the colour of the user card and the dictionaries of event types.

Day to day

Keyboard shortcuts (t, j/k, m/w/d/l/p, n, f, r, ?), dark mode following Dolibarr's, mobile-friendly display with the list view by default, and printing without toolbars.

An option on the setup page redirects native calendar pages to the modern calendar for users who have the right to use it. The native list view is never redirected, and capagenda_native=1 in the address always reaches the original page.

Compatibility

Dolibarr 18 to 24, PHP 7.4 minimum, native Agenda module enabled (its enablement is automatic). The calendar rendering relies on the EventCalendar library (MIT), embedded in the module: no call to an external service.
