CapCRM: The Dolibarr customer record consolidated onto a single page

CapCRM has been available since March 25, 2024, in version 1.0.2, which notably adds compatibility with Dolibarr 14.

The Need

In Dolibarr, answering the question “Where do we stand with this client?” requires opening, one after another, the client record, quotes, orders, contracts, the calendar, and projects. Eventually, the sales rep stops even looking.

One page per third

The module adds a screen that consolidates the following information for a third party: their contacts, sales proposals, orders, contracts, projects, notes, sales history, and indirect sales history (when the corresponding module is installed), as well as actions already taken and upcoming actions.

The page is more than just a display: contacts are added and edited there, notes are created there, past or future actions are created there, and emails are sent from there.

Sales History

It is built from invoice line items, grouped by product category. The root of the category tree to be used is a configurable setting: each company chooses the level that makes sense for it, without the module imposing its own structure.

Prerequisites

Dolibarr 11 or later, PHP 7.3 or later.
