Click & Collect: Order online and pick up in-store, during store hours

The Click & Collect module was released on April 25, 2024, as version 1.0.2.

Three Calendars, Not Just One

This is the core of the module, and what sets it apart from an ordinary online store:

• the hours during which online orders are accepted—for example, they can be closed during dine-in service;
• production hours, that is, when the order can be prepared;
• pickup hours, when the customer can come to pick up the order.

In addition, there is a production capacity that limits what can be accepted, as well as order limits.

The Pseudo-Stock

For a business that manufactures what it sells, the ERP's comprehensive inventory management feature doesn't make sense. The module provides a "pseudo-inventory" organized by product category, which simply limits what remains available online.

The Catalog

The products displayed are those from a root category selected in the configuration; the category description may or may not be displayed.

Payment

This version integrates Dolibarr's core online payment methods with an external service: payments are processed through the service providers already configured in the ERP.

The Preparation Ticket

For each paid order, a receipt can be automatically printed on a cash register printer, complete with its template, header, and footer—using the same placeholders as the Dolibarr cash register. An email address receives a notification if printing fails, and another can receive a copy of the orders—which is sufficient for a business that prefers to view its orders on a phone rather than install a printer. The customer, meanwhile, receives a confirmation email based on a Dolibarr template.

Prerequisites

Dolibarr 11 or later, PHP 7.0 or later, and the Receipt Printers module for the packing slip.
