MégaNotes: Note-taking linked to third parties and Dolibarr objects

MégaNotes has been available since November 14, 2025, in version 1.0.1.

The Need

What is said on the phone ends up in a notepad, a text file, or a personal note-taking app. The information exists, but it isn’t linked to anything—not the client, not the project, and not the order being discussed.

The Note

The text is written in Markdown, in an editor that displays a preview of the final output—that's what's new in this version. The note is assigned to a category, tagged with keywords, and tracked by its status as it is processed.

Affiliations

That's what sets the module apart from a notebook: a note is linked to relevant third parties and the corresponding Dolibarr objects. As you type, autocomplete suggests third parties, categories, keywords, and objects without requiring you to leave the text field.

Access

An option adds the module's icon to the menu bar in the upper-right corner of Dolibarr, making it just a click away during a call.

Prerequisites

Dolibarr 11 or later, PHP 7.0 or later.

The module is released under the GPL v3.
